Scott Appel: Scott is one of the most respected entrepreneurs in the flooring industry. He founded Touch of Color Flooring in 2003 and grew the business to $70 million in annual sales prior to selling the business in 2021. He’s now the CEO of Frontier Surfaces, a manufacturer of high-quality flooring products sold across North America, and a founding partner at Floorily.
Scott was a Member of the Board of Directors for the World Floor Covering Association from 2012 to 2017. WFCA was the original organization managing the Surfaces event each year in Vegas, NV. Scott loves to travel and spend time with his 5 kids.
Jerry Levinson: Jerry is a life-long entrepreneur. After many trials and tribulations, he sold his first business in the blinds industry in 2015 for $1.2 million. Learning a great deal from that experience, he started a sales and marketing consulting business to help teach entrepreneurs the valuable lessons he’d learned along the way. This eventually led him to acquire a flooring business in 2015 which he grew to over $2 million in sales by 2018.
Fueled by a passion for teaching and helping people, Jerry has dedicated himself to giving back to the flooring community. Jerry is a family man who loves to travel and spend time on his boat.
David Requa: David is a serial entrepreneur and digital marketer. After building his retail location in North Carolina to $3 million in less than 2 years, he decided to launch a digital marketing agency to help flooring dealers across the country grow their businesses online.
David is an expert with all social media ad platforms with an emphasis on Facebook and Instagram. Recently, he launched Floorily, a venture designed to combine flooring products with a full suite of marketing services. In his free time, David loves to spend time with his 2 kids, work out, and watch sports.
